ABOUT US

Connection Church Vidalia began in January of 2015 in a living room with 16 people with a heart to see God transform a community.  God gave us a mission to connect people to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ that has allowed us to see God do incredible things and see countless lives changed by Jesus.

At Connection, we want to keep it simple and keep Jesus the main thing. In doing so, we've been able to see our ministry flourish in ways we could have never dreamed. Keeping our mission simple is incredibly important. Acts 2:42-47 gives us a perfect illustration of how a church should function. That scripture fuels four areas of ministry: Sunday Services, Connect Groups, Kids and Student Ministry, and Missions and Outreach.

Four Ministry Areas

  • Our church gathers together every Sunday morning at 9am and 11am to worship at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia. Our services include worship music, bible teaching, and safe environments for kids to learn about Jesus on their level.

  • Connect Groups are where we believer real life change happens. They designed to mimic what the Bible teaches about community in Acts 2:42-47. They consist of 8-12 people who meet weekly to eat, study the bible, and do life together. They are designed to cultivate Christ-centered friendships that encourage, challenge, and focus our lives towards a growing relationship with Jesus.

  • Konnection Kids is the children’s ministry at Connection Church for children aged 8 weeks to 5th grade. We want you, as parents, to feel comfortable leaving your children with us. We want to provide safe, fun, and inviting environments where the Bible is taught creatively in a way they can understand. We want your child to have a growing relationship with us, their friends, and especially Jesus!

Connection Students is the middle and high school ministry at Connection. We generally refer to Wednesday nights as The Best Night of the Week around here because anytime you can get together with a group of friends who’ve become like family, learn how to be more like Jesus, and have fun doing it is...The Best Night of the Week.

  • The Bible teaches that we should take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the Earth. This includes our community, our area, and our world. At Connection, we take this command seriously and believer every member should be a part of this mission
