CGL Notes: We live in a world where everyone has an opinion about life and how it should work. Many opinions about what’s right and what’s wrong. We also live in a world where everyone seems to have a platform to voice their opinions. This brings confusion in our world but in the midst of confusion, God’s Word brings clarity! In a world with many voices, we are letting God’s voice speak the loudest!

Read Genesis 1:1-3

Vs 1 teaches that "in the beginning God was.” What does this passage teach us about God? How do these attributes build your faith in God and give you comfort and clarity in your life? 

Examples: Self-existent, Self-sufficient, All powerful, All knowing, All Sovereign.

What are some of the biggest misconceptions in our world regarding morality? How does this passage bring clarity to what is right and wrong?

What are things people try to find purpose in? What does this passage teach us about where we find our true purpose? How have you misplaced your true purpose in your life? What are some things you have tried to find purpose in other than God?

Read Colossians 1:15-20 what do these verses show us about Jesus?
