Clarity Week 2
Genesis 1-2:3
Clarity
CGL Notes: We live in a world where everyone has an opinion about life and how it should work. Many opinions about what’s right and what’s wrong. We also live in a world where everyone seems to have a platform to voice their opinions. This brings confusion in our world but in the midst of confusion, God’s Word brings clarity! In a world with many voices, we are letting God’s voice speak the loudest!
Read Genesis 1-2:3
What does the statement "And God saw that it was good" (Genesis 1:4, 10, 12, etc.) reveal about God's design before the fall in Gen 3?
How does the creation of humanity on the sixth day (Genesis 1:26-27) differ from the creation of other living creatures, and what does it mean to be created in the image of God? How does this concept influence how we should live our lives?
If God doesn’t need rest, then why did God rest on the seventh day (Genesis 2:2)? What does this teach us about the importance of rest and Sabbath observance in our own lives? How does this change how we see rest? (Examples: where is real rest found… how should sabbath be desire and not duty?)
How does understanding the creation story impact your view of the world and your place in it?
