*These questions are personal. They target the heart and put healthy responsibility on your group to spend time with God and seek the Lord.

Take turns, Go around and have each person answer all 3 questions.

1. How are you doing spiritually? (SPIRITUALLY!!!)

2. What’s one thing that stuck out to you from Genesis 3:1-9 or in the sermon? Why?

3. What’s one thing (sin) you’re struggling with right now that we can pray for you about?

For the first two weeks in this series divide the group into guys and girls! This will help the men and the women go deeper in conversation concerning biblical manhood and biblical womanhood.

Genesis 3:1-9

In This passage, we see an important question. A Question that God asked Adam. “Where are you?” This is a question that still needs to be asked to the men in our world today! There is nothing more detrimental today than the lack of men leading in the family, the church, and our world. God created man on purpose for a purpose! On Sunday we talked about what it looks like to be a biblical man!

Questions For The Men    (Pick a couple of questions specifically for your group!)

In your own words, what do you think it looks like to be a man?

Genesis 1:26-27 show us that men were designed to bear God’s image through having a relationship with God!

Why is a relationship with God necessary to be the man God has called you to be, and how is your relationship with God right now?

Genesis 2:15 shows us that we were designed to bear God’s image through cultivating and working.

What does this verse show us about God’s design for man and what effects has sin had on men cultivating and working?

Genesis 2:15 also shows us that men were designed to bear God’s image by protecting and providing.

Men should take the lead on protecting and providing for their homes physically and spiritually. Do you see any of these lacking when you back off and examine your own life?

Genesis 2:18 shows us that we were designed to bear God’s image through our marriage!

Biblical men are men who are faithful to their wife! God brought Eve to Adam for Him to lead and care for. Are you leading your wife in a way that Bears God’s image? Are you loving her like Christ loved the Church?

Genesis 1:28 show us that we were designed to bear God's image through creating!

God wants men to take part in filling the earth with His Glory and Making Disciples!

Are you filling the earth with God's glory or your own glory? Are you actively making disciples of Jesus?

Genesis 1:28 also shows us we were designed to bear God’s image by leading!

Men are designed to be leaders! But in order to be over, we first have to learn to be under! We can't lead others well when we don’t first follow. Where are you not leading well in your life right now? What area of your life isn't surrendered under the headship of Christ?

Questions for the Women

Why is it important for a woman to know what biblical manhood looks like?

Are you helping your husband be the man that God has called him to be?

Why is prayer the most important thing you can do when it comes to helping your husband be who God has called him to be?

Spend some time praying for the men in your group to be the men who God has called them to be!

Spend some time praying that God would help you be the wife that He has called you to be
