Read Genesis 2:18-25, 3:8-10, Ephesians 5:19-33

Take turns, Go around and have each person answer all 3 questions.

Why is it important not to make marriage an idol? Has it been an idol in your own life?


Why is it important to serve God with undivided devotion in your singleness and how can it have its benefits in a unique way that's different from marriage?


For the Married (choose a couple) 


Does your view of marriage align with God’s view of marriage? What are some misconceptions we have in our world concerning the purpose of marriage and how does God’s design change everything!?!?


How have you seen James 4:1-3 prove true in your own marriage? Why does having a biblical view of sin important to have in a marriage? 



Why is the Holy Spirit a necessity to being and becoming the spouse God is calling you to be? Are you pressing into the Spirit daily in your own life?



Is the purpose of your marriage characterized by God’s purpose for it? Or does it have more of a worldly purpose?



For the wives


If your husband described you would he describe you as a suitable helper? A woman who helps him be who God has called him to be?


Have you been the wife that God wants you to be to your spouse?
