In this passage, Paul shows us that through Christ God has freed us from the power of sin, and has saved us to the Lordship of Christ! In the same way, we used to offer ourselves up to be slaves to sin, now we should offer ourselves up to be slaves of riotousness because that’s what we are in Christ Jesus!
