In this passage, Paul shows us that in God not only wants to save us from our sins, but He also wants to continue to grow us into the image of Christ! He shows us that we serve now in a New way of the Spirit, however, we still have original sin in our life. We are freed from the power of sin but we are not freed from the presence of sin until we are glorified! As Christians, we still have sin, we absolutely hate sin, and we need to confess sin.
