Paul shows us in this passage that the Gospel doesn’t just do a work from the outside in, it also does a work in us from the inside out. In light of God’s mercy in Romans chapters 1-11 the only logical response is to be a living sacrifice for Him. This is our logical (proper) Worship.

.. First, What does this passage teach us about God?  (What’s the God shot in this passage?) What does this passage teach us about God’s will for your life?

.. Why is it important to keep His mercy in view when it comes to living the Christian life and being a living Sacrifice for him? How do his mercies in our lives give us power to live the Christian life?

.. Why does Paul stress for us not to conform to the world, but be Transformed by the renewing of our minds? What does it look like to conform to the world? What does it look like to renew our minds? How does the Holy Spirit do this work in us?

.. What does it look like to be a living sacrifice for God? Where (What) is it in your life right now that’s not surrendered to Christ and his rule and reign?
