This passage shows us FaceTime encounters with Jesus and others after His resurrection.
Jesus and Mary, Jesus and His Disciples, and Jesus and Thomas! We learn a lot from these encounters!
Jesus tells the disciples “Peace be with you” three times in this passage. Despite their circumstances, they could still have peace because peace isn't found in circumstances peace is found in a person! How have you found peace in Christ despite your circumstances?
Read Isaiah 26:3 and Philippians 4:4-7. How do we live out these verses in our lives?
The resurrection is the most convincing proof that Jesus is who He says He is. When the disciples saw the resurrected Christ, they went from being scared to some of the best missionaries the world has ever seen. How does the resurrection give us confidence in our own faith, and how should it compel us to live on mission for Christ?
