Preschool Family Worship

NEED TO KNOW:

God Loves Me

  • The focus of this family time is to use five easy steps to teach our children the good news of Christmas and why we celebrate this exciting holiday each year. They will also learn how to share this good news with others!
  • Learn the NEED TO KNOW together and say it throughout the week to help your family remember and apply what they have learned.

MEMORY VERSE:

"God (both hands point up)

sent His Son (pretend to rock baby)

to be the Savior (reach arms wide)

of the world." (make circle with arms above head)

1 John 4:14 (hold up four fingers)

  • Practice the memory verse together as a family

STEP 1. GATHER!

Intentionally pick a place and time to gather your family together and use this activity to begin Family Worship Night.

  • Does God love you when you're wearing mittens?(Yes) Does God love you when you're not wearing mittens?(Yes) That's right! God loves you all of the time!
  • If your dad says, "Do not eat candy," and you eat a candy cane, did you obey or disobey? ( Di so b e y ) That's right. Does God like it when we disobey?(No) But does God still love us?(Yes)
  • If your grandma says, "Do not touch the ornaments," should you play with them or leave them alone?(Leave them alone)
