After moving from California the Roberts family became faithful members at Connection Church Vidalia in February of 2021. Through the Word, and while serving in various capacities in their church, they decided their role in the Great Commission was to go. They entered into their local church's sending pipeline in the Summer of 2024 and, after finishing locally, they will receive cross-cultural training to complete their equipping process. The need for people who don't have access to the gospel has been made evident to them and they are excited for what is to come as they move forward in this task overseas. They are excited to share in the task with you as partners and would love to give you more information on the different ways you can be a part of this work, all for His glory.

C started attending church in Tifton, GA and visited Connection Church Vidalia when she was in town. After permanently moving to Vidalia, she joined Connection Church in February of 2021. After going through Heart and Soul and officially joining the church, she started serving in KK and attended a weekly Connect Group. 

While she was still at the point of visiting Connection, she started hearing about the 10/40 window, how many unreached people there actually are in the world, and the fact that some had never heard Jesus. Once joining the church, she attended a Global Missionary training where she learned more about the unreached and was able to meet people in different religious groups. That is when God started making it clear in her heart that the unreached need believers to go and tell them about the Gospel and who Jesus is. She is excited to take her next steps in the process of getting to the mission field and being able to see God’s work. C can’t wait to partner with you!

The S Family begin attending Connection Church in 2016 after moving to Vidalia for the husband to begin coaching at Brewton-Parker College. They quickly became Heart & Soul at Connection Church and God began to do a work in their lives. During this time, they began to feel a burden on their life to live out their faith and have a Gospel impact in every are of life. God began to call their family to the missions field in a rare, and miraculous, way. Over and over, the husband began to have dreams where he was witnessing to the Islamic people in North Africa, who desperately need the Gospel. Shortly after, the S family accepted the call of God to go overseas as full-time missionaries. There, they joined a team of family members that had been serving as missionaries in North Africa.

The husband have wife have three kids. They have counted the cost and given God their yes in order to plant churches and see needs met throughout an unreached country in North Africa. They have seen the power of Jesus to radically transform lives, no matter the price. A place where people lose everything for becoming a follower of Jesus. They have been serving overseas for two years and are continuing to be obedient to listen to God and do what He says. They are always overjoyed to find new partners in Christ and would love to share their story and what God is doing in their lives and in North Africa!

Brad and his family began attending Connection in 2020. They became Heart & Soul members shortly after. Brad is the state director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) in Georgia. FCA exists to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church. God is using Brad in tremendous ways to further the kingdom of God.
